White label means that the customer sees your name. For a collar with an app that statement has three parts, and they are not equally certain: the collar, the box and the app. I will go through each, and say plainly where I cannot yet promise.
I run SimbaGo Tech and answer each request myself, so this is what I tell buyers in the first reply.
What goes on the collar?
Your logo. We make a mock of it, so you see the collar with your brand before you commit to a batch. That is part of the two samples: two collars, shipped with a mock of your logo.
Prepare the logo as a vector file if you have one, and decide where it should sit. If you have a brand rule for logo size or colors on products, send it with the file.
What goes on the box?
Your logo goes on the packaging as well. This matters more than brands expect, because the box is the first thing the customer holds. A strong box makes the product feel like yours.
Think about what else the box says: what the collar tracks, the line that it has no shock module, and the name of the company that stands behind it. Only claim what is confirmed.
What about the app?
Here I have to be careful. A white label app, where the owner sees your brand in the app itself, is not a feature I list as confirmed. What the app can carry, together with the languages it supports and what owners see today, is stated in the quote you receive.
If a branded app is a condition for you, say so in your first message. I will answer that point first, and a plain no is better for you than a vague maybe.
How does the logo mock work?
You send the logo. We make the mock and send it with the samples. You look at it with the collar in your hand, and you tell us what to change. The first-batch lead time is counted from your approved logo mock to shipment, and the quote states it.
What should you prepare?
- Your logo as a vector file, plus any brand rules.
- The text you want on the box, kept to confirmed facts.
- Your markets, so the right certificates are named.
- A decision on who answers customer questions about the app.
Does branding change the price?
It can. The unit price depends on quantity and branding, and the quote gives it with and without your branding so you can see the difference. I do not publish figures, because none of them would be right for your order.
What can you not change?
The design. A white label collar is built to a factory's design, and your changes are limited to the logo and the packaging. If a design nobody else has is essential to you, white label is the wrong route, and I compare the options in Build your own smart collar, resell a tracker, or white label one?.
How do you start?
Send the form with your brand and market, and attach or mention your logo. I reply within one business day with the sample cost and shipping time for your country. You are under no obligation to order after the samples.
What makes a logo work on a collar?
A collar is a narrow strip, so wide logos shrink and lose detail. Simple marks, strong contrast and a clear single color work most reliably. If your logo has fine lines, a one-color version is worth preparing. The mock is the place to find this out, which is why we make one before you commit to anything.
Look at the mock on the collar itself, not only on a screen, and look at it from a distance, the way a stranger on a walk would see it.
How should the box carry your brand?
The box is the first thing your customer holds. Put your logo where the eye lands first, add the short list of what the collar tracks, state that it has no shock module and leave out anything you cannot confirm. Resist the urge to fill every side with claims. A calm box feels more like a brand than a crowded one.
We carry your logo on the packaging. Layout details are worked out with the samples, and I do not promise specifics on a web page that I would have to confirm with the factory.
What if you want changes after the mock?
Say so. The mock exists to be changed. Send your comments on size, position and color, and we revise it. The lead time for a first batch is counted from the approved mock, so take the time to be happy with it. A few extra days at this stage are cheaper than an unhappy batch.
If your comments are about the design of the collar and not the logo, I will tell you straight whether they are possible. White label limits changes to branding.
